The Science

This tower is a natural matrix specimen — meaning three distinct minerals formed together in the same geological environment, each with its own chemistry and energetic signature.

Yellow Tourmaline (elbaite or dravite variety) belongs to the complex boron silicate mineral group, with a trigonal crystal structure and a hardness of 7–7.5 on the Mohs scale. Tourmaline is one of the few minerals that is naturally pyroelectric and piezoelectric — it generates an electric charge when heated or subjected to pressure, and is known to produce a weak but measurable electromagnetic field. This property is so reliable that tourmaline is used in pressure-sensing instruments and scientific equipment.

Clear Quartz (SiO₂) acts as the host matrix, its piezoelectric properties amplifying and transmitting the energetic output of the tourmaline embedded within it. Together, they form a naturally occurring energetic circuit.
